We are staying in a remote Airbnb in middle Tennessee. On Friday while waiting for Amber we go do the Honey Creek Loop in the Big South Fork area. When we arrive at the trail head we can go left or right. We decide to go to the left thinking it might be a little more strenuous. There isn’t to much elevation on this hike but navigating the rocks and the water is a little strenuous. This is my kind of trail. Lots of cool rocks, boulders and waterfalls. The water flows were not very high so the waterfalls were not raging but the greenery and the moss covered rocks and the creek walking was fun anyway.

We took a side path to this waterfall. It was way off the main trail but super cool. Jessica skirted the rock to get this close but I wasn’t taking any chances falling in that mucky water.

It’s this way through this rock tunnel below. If we went to the right there were signs on the trees directing us. We almost couldn’t find this way to the trail!

We played around so much that we weren’t able to finish the whole loop which is about 6 miles. So after we climbed the steps and saw this view we road walked back to our car. See how much water is missing?
